Supine with head at end of table under tower bar. tower bar at mid sternum level when arms are fully extended. knees bent with feet flat on mat. for optimal safety ensure tower bar can pass over the students face without touching.
inhale eccentrically control progression by allowing bar to pull arms up. exhale concentrically retract scapula moving bar back down then bend elbows. bringing tower bar through uprights inhale to fully extend elbows and elevate the scapula moving the bar away from the head. exhale to depress scapulae pulling bar back down bend elbows and bring bar back through to starting position
Body Position – knees flexed or extended. perform only protraction/retraction perform only elevation/depression single arm with trunk rotation .
