About Me

Hi I’m Piotr,  thanks for visiting.

My Story

My Story

After graduation in Poland, I had the unique opportunity to work with professional athletes starting as a massage support for men and women under 15 to finally take  he role of lead physio for women’s beach volleyball national team (Rio 2016). After a couple of years, I wanted to further enhance my clinical skills and knowledge hence I came to United Kingdom to enroll in an Osteopathic course. Instead of a 2-year conversion course I wanted to strengthen and improve my language as well as  ands-on treatment skills, so I joined a part time 5 year route (currently ending year 5). My main goal in the upcoming years is to integrate my physiotherapy knowledge and experience with the latest ideas and concepts that osteopathy brought to my treatment plans.

I am a keen learner, enjoy picking up knowledge from senior colleagues and want to continue to develop my career and skills.  I have been working in various clinics across London, learned to manage my own diary and client base,  as well as effectively communicate with consultants and specialists. I am recognized by most of the significant private medical insurance on the market.  My main strength is building great reports with clients, providing them with tailored hands-on treatment that I later reinforce with appropriate home  exercise plans. I believe to be working within a shared decision model to provide best practice treatments that are highly personalized.

Dry needling, taping, tool aided tissue work, soft tissue work and massage are something I feel comfortable with as a part of my treatment plans. I am looking for a clinic where physiotherapy and osteopathy blend together where CPD and in house training is not just another slogan to attract attention but where my skills will continue to develop and I am faced with a challenge.

I am open to part-time and full-time opportunities on a self-employed or employed basis. As a penultimate osteopathy degree student I am looking for certain degree of flexibility from my new workplace, a place that understands that continued education is an important part of work-life balance.
